The sauna market runs on inflated EMF claims, vanishing discounts, and five-star ratings built on a handful of reviews. We started SaunaVerdict to do the boring part for you — pull the real price, rating, and review count from the actual listing, line the products up side by side, and tell you what the spec sheet won't.
Our Methodology
Every sauna in our directory goes through the same evidence-based process. We don't publish a rating, review count, or price we can't tie back to a real, current listing:
Verified Listing Data
Each product is matched to a live retailer listing. We record the rating, review count, and price exactly as shown, with the date we last checked — no estimated or AI-generated numbers.
Owner Review Analysis
We read through verified-buyer reviews on the retailer listing to understand real-world durability, heat performance, and assembly — the things specs alone don't tell you.
Spec & Claim Checks
We compare manufacturer specs and marketing claims — especially EMF/ELF claims, which are frequently exaggerated — against the listing and independent sources where available.
Value Comparison
We weigh each model against close alternatives at the same price and capacity, so a recommendation reflects how it stacks up, not just its own spec sheet.
Regular Re-checks
We revisit listings and remove products that go out of stock or get discontinued, and re-confirm data when prices or ratings change.
